Information on our Event
The event is open to all amateur cyclists & club riders from local clubs who relish in the challenge of riding 108 miles as well as contributing to a worth- while charity. The event will require that your body is fully prepared to go the distance. There will be a a 2 hour start window from 07:30 to 9:30 and riders will follow a set route that can be viewed here and downloaded for those with Garmin navigation devices. We have set the time to achieve 108 miles at 8 hours or under (Riding/moving time). That's an average speed of 13.5mph
Where does my entry fee go you may ask. Half of your entry fee will go towards the cost of the food at the start & finish of the event as well as the refuelling feed station at the Humber bridge car park (north bank). The other half will go to Parkinson's UK. The more support and sponsorship we can generate from local businesses will mean a larger proportion of your entry fee going to Parkinson's research.

Why have we chosen Parkinson's UK? One of our female members was diagnosed with Parkinson's 6 years ago at the age of 42. She is a keen fund raiser for Parkinson's UK so we have adopted this charity. She will also be riding this event and is determined to get under the 8 hour ride time set.
Two Wheels to Four
We are thrilled to announce that our ride is being supported by Wakefield Audi. All riders on the day will be entered into a free prize draw with an opportunity to win an Audi of their choice for the weekend (terms and conditions apply excludes Audi R8) . Jack Bryson head of business at Wakefield Audi has also pledge funding towards refreshments for all riders.
Huge thank you to Jack and Wakefield Audi

Stay with Wayne
For additional fun, we have recruited one of the most accomplished cyclist from our area to ride the event. Can you stay with Wayne Randall? Wayne has got a reputation as being one of the toughest cyclist around. Wayne will be supporting our event and if you are fit enough, he is inviting riders to ride the route with him. Good luck with that one. Wayne will be starting the ride at 09:30hrs
